Outlook 07

Things you will need:

  • Your email address i.e username@example.com
  • Your email password

How to configure Outlook 2007:

1. Open Outlook 2007
2. From the Tools menu choose Account Settings

Step 1

3. Make sure the E-mail tab is selected and click New

Step 2

4. Tick Manually configure server settings or additional server types and click Next

Step 3

5. Select Internet E-mail

Step 4

6. Perform the following steps for Internet E-mail Settings:
Enter your fullname in the Your Name: field
Enter your email address in the E-mail Address: field
Select POP3 for the account type
Enter mail.rocketspark.co.nz in the Incoming mail server: field
Enter mail.rocketspark.co.nz in the Outgoing mail server: field
Enter your email address in the User Name: field
Enter your password in the Password: field
Click on More Settings

7. Select the Outgoing Server tab

8. Perform the following steps in the Outgoing Server tab
Tick My outgoing server required authentication
Select Log on using
Enter your email address in the User name: field
Enter your password in the Password: field
Click on Ok

Step 7

9. Click on Finish to complete account setup
