Thunderbird

Important Note:
Even though the screen shots for this setup are from Apple OS X. The method is the same for both Windows and Macintosh
Things you will need:
- Your email address i.e username@example.com
- Your email password
How to configure Thunderbird:
- 1. Open Thunderbird
- 2. From the Tools menu choose Account Settings
- 3. Click on Add Account
- 4. Select Email Account and click Continue
- 5. Perform the following steps
- Enter your fullname in the Your Name: field
- Enter your email address in the Email Address: Field
- Click Continue
- 6. Perform the following steps:
- Select POP3 for the incoming server
- Enter mail.rocketspark.co.nz in the Incoming mail server: field
- Enter mail.rocketspark.co.nz in the Outgoing mail server: field
- Click on Continue
- 7. Perform the following steps:
- Enter your email address in the Incoming User Name: field
- Enter your email address in the Outgoing User Name: field
- Click Continue
- 8. Enter a name for you to identify this account from your other accounts in the Account Name: field
- 9. Click on Done to complete account setup
- 10. Enter your password when you check your emails for the first time
