When to use uppercase, capitalisation, or lowercase

Company logos vary in terms of their casing. Some logos are all uppercase, some have the first letter capitalised, and others have all letters (including the first) lower case. One formatting trick you might like to try with your rocketspark site is to match your menu capitalisation and heading capitalisation with that of your logo. See example below for all lowercase.

It is not essential to match the casing of your menu and headings to your logo, but it is a good idea to match the casing of your menu items with your headings. For example:

• If your menu items are all lowercase, it might look good to have your headings all lowercase. You can do this by not capitalising your text region headings as you type them.
• If your menu items are all uppercase, it might look good to have your headings all uppercase. You can do this by pressing caps lock when you type in the names of the headings for your text regions.
• If your menu items are capitalised, it might look good to have the first letter of the main words in your heading capitalised. Much like the heading of a newspaper or the title of a book.

Inconsistencies with casing throughout your site can make you seem unprofessional. Attention to small formatting and grammatical details is essential for maintaining credibility online.
